Overview

The Wine Club & Hospitality Coordinator is responsible for supporting the strategy for wine club programs and experiences. The Wine Club and Hospitality Coordinator assists the Wine Club Manager with member services and works in partnership with the hospitality team to deliver exceptional club member experiences.  The coordinator ensures that service and communications are executed with approachable luxury standards with a sustainability and innovation mind set.

Responsibilities

Operations

  • Accountable for executing strategy and daily operations for Wine Club to strengthen membership growth: member events, club retention, and reduction of outstanding club shipments/revenue liability.
  • Ensures timely and accurate processing of membership enrollments, orders/returns, and customer database is properly maintained.
  • Monitor’s shipping fulfillment partners and guest shipping issues, ensuring sustainability and quality standards are met.
  • Participates in the planning of member events. Hosts wine club members and corporate clients during Wine Club events. May participate in off-site tastings.
  • Supports the “back end” of the CRM platform.    

Personnel

  • Supports the activities of the hospitality team to achieve business priorities: consumer acquisition, club and sales growth. 
  • Creates customer service policies and procedures, monitors work and ensures compliance.
  • Establishes an atmosphere of teamwork and positive employee relations. 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively participates in industry associated events and organizations
  • Continuous education for self and team
  • Maintain continuous awareness of competitors' brands, sustainability, quality, innovation and industry reputation.
  • Contributes to new wine innovation program

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have TIPS certification (or complete within 30 days)
  • Retail sales and/or food and beverage service experience helpful. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, English Required and second language preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service and leadership experience.
  • Retail/hospitality and sales or loyalty marketing experience a must. 
  • Wine enthusiast a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Scheduling flexibility to work weekends and ensure business staffing needs.
  • High level attention to detail, ability to anticipate customer needs and respond appropriately.
  • Software proficiency: MS Office Suite, Outlook, Wine Direct, Commerce7, or other CRM.
